Students with minimal or no piano skills should enroll in the first semester skills class, MUAG 1011. Music majors interested in being considered for placement in a higher level piano course should follow the instructions below. Placement exams can now be done online with a computer/iPad and digital keyboard.
- Consult this document to determine if you need to take the piano placement examination.
- If you answered "yes" to the questions in the document above:
- login to Piano Marvel and take the SASR test.
- OR if you prefer to take your placement exam in person, exams will be administered Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm in Music Building MU221.
