Arsentiy Kharitonov at Carnegie Hall

Arsentiy Kharitonov performed at Carnegie Hall on May 20, 2016 playing a program of Scriabin (Prelude in B Major, Op. 11, No. 11), Rachmaninoff (Variations on a Theme by Chopin, Op. 22), and Tchaikovsky (Méditation, Op. 72, No. 5) to rave reviews. “Kharitonov, who has a rich imagination and seems able to do anything technically, was at liberty to reach the limits of both technique and emotion with ease,” according to reviewer Raymond Beegle.  “His dynamic range had an astonishing breadth and the lyric passages were especially captivating.” Read more at   http://observer.com/2016/05/arsentiy-kharitonovs-piano-magic-enraptures-a-packed-carnegie-hall/
